  3. I'm reading the Runaway King, the sequel to The False Prince in the Ascendance Trilogy. It's about kids that are taken from an orphanage and are trained to be an impostor of a prince. This boy named Sage gets picked out of the three kids and convinces the court that he is the real king, so he adopts the throne from his father. Currently he is ruling the entire kingdom. I recommend this book to anyone who likes books that characters that are smart, clever, and sarcastic.

    By:James Frey

I don’t really know how to explain this because you already told the entire class a whole bunch of stuff so, I am just going to act like you never told us.. I highly recommend this book to people because it is very interesting but personally it gets confusing when you stop reading it for a long period of time. If your parents are very strict about what you read then this book is not the best. It has some foul language. I can’t say very much because I am not very far into this book. But I like it so far.

    Title: Angels & Demons
    Author: Dan Brown
Recommend: Yes, it is a page turner and I was sucked into it quickly during SSR. It's long so you won't feel like Dan Brown robbed you of more story, and it's part of a series.

So far: Robert Langdon, author of various religious symbology books, is invited to CERN. CERN is a secret group of very intelligent people who are figuring out the answers to the universe. Langdon is asked to inspect the victim of a murder, who was murdered by a member of an anti-religious cult thought to be non-existent in this day and age… the Illuminati.

Blog Post: The book I am reading right now is called The Dirt Diary. Furthermore, it’s written by Anne Staniszewski, and I am really starting to enjoy all over her books. She does an amazing job of developing the characters. I would highly recommend this book, specifically girls ages ranging from 10 to 15 years old. The main character, Rachel, is an 8th grader with a lot of situations that are pretty unusual. Going on, Her parents split up, and she wants to see her dad to try and get him to get back together. While trying to raise money to see her dad, she has to get a job with her mom as a housekeeper. Meanwhile at school, she has to deal with the school bully, Briana, leaving a big disaster of drama.

Blog Post: The title is “A Walk In The Woods.” The author is Bill Bryson. I would recommend this book to somebody else because it is funny. The book is about these two old guys who decide to walk the Appalachian trail. The setting is on the Appalachian Trail which is a gorgeous hiking trail that is protected by the national park service. My summary would be that this one old dude a.k.a Bill Bryson is tired of feeling like a wimp, so he decides that he is going to walk the Appalachian trail. He asks all of his family and friends to walk with him. When he starts thinking that no one wants to come his old friend Katz calls and asks if he could come. Bill says yes and then the rest of the story is about the hardships and the people they meet on the trail.

Blog Post: The title of my book is Warriors- The Darkest Hour. The author is Erin Hunter. I’d recommend this book to a few people, as it is not for everyone. Honestly, when I first started this series, I thought it’d be kind of….well, dumb, for lack of a better word. I mean, it’s about cats who go into battle and other adventures. It turns out this series is actually pretty interesting! I’ll tell you the plot of the whole series (don’t worry, there isn’t too much detail) without spoilers. Basically, there is this young cat who lives in a house with a human to take care of it in luxury. But one day, this cat figures out what is beyond his home with a human or “twoleg” as they call them. It is the forest, and within that general area, there are four clans called ThunderClan, WindClan, RiverClan, and ShadowClan. This helpless young cat ventures into what happens to be ThunderClan territory, and the leader stumbles upon him. Long story short, the leader offers him a place in that clan as an apprentice, or a warrior in training. He is given the name Firepaw. Eventually, he becomes a warrior called Fireheart, his new warrior name, along with his friends he made when he entered the clan. After a while, he notices some suspicious behavior from the deputy, Tigerclaw, and decides to investigate this a bit more. As it turns out, Tigerclaw is responsible for killing the previous deputy named Redtail (at first, these names can be a bit confusing). Fireheart snoops around a little more, to corroborate his discoveries, and to make sure what he thinks is true; it is. When he first tells the leader, Bluestar, she doesn’t believe him. But soon, she figures out that he was right all along. Tigerclaw found other cats away from the four clans, and the band of rogues were hired to run into ThunderClan, under the orders of Tigerclaw, and try to wipe the clan out. The clan survives after going into battle with the small yet powerful group of cats. But Tigerclaw was out to kill Bluestar primarily, without succeeding, though. What was his motive? Keep in mind that Tigerclaw was deputy. And if all of Bluestar’s remaining lives (she started with nine) are wiped out, he becomes leader in place of her, and takes rule of ThunderClan. He is a bloodthirsty, power craving traitor, and wants nothing but full power over all of the cats. Being a partial ruler is not good enough for him. After the majority of the already outnumbered rogues are driven out of the camp grounds, Bluestar banishes Tigerclaw for his treachery. In place of Tigerclaw, Fireheart is named deputy. Bluestar is not her usual self after what happened; she always believed Tigerclaw was a great warrior. He had the potential, but he let greed win that skill over. I can’t say much more without spoiling too much so far, but that isn’t the last ThunderClan sees of Tigerclaw. I guess that was a lot of detail.

Blog Post: The story is called “Can’t look away”. It is about a girl who has this blog about beauty tips and her sister gets killed by a drunk driver. She originally lives in Colorado but has to move away from her friends and life to Texas where her Aunt and Uncle live with their daughter who is her age. She has problems fitting in sometimes because someone knows about her blog. Also Sometimes she will remember the little things her sister used to do and say. And can’t go on her blog because her parents said that it reminds them and her of their old life. And that's as far as I got in this book.

Blog Post: The book I am reading is called Warriors: Power Of Three: The Sight by Erin Hunter. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves cats and other animals. This book happens to be in the third series, and this series is a continued story about wild cats who live in a forest with four different Clans of cats. The Sight introduces three main characters, siblings, Hollypaw, Lionpaw, and Jaypaw. It switches between their point of view, usually in every chapter. There is currently a lot of small conflicts. Overall, I think this is a great book.

Blog Post: The book I am currently reading is Sword Art Online. It is by Reki Kawahara, give kudos to her she has written over 25 books in this series and is working on more. I completely recommend this book to anyone over 13. I’m only 12 but I have a bit more mature mind than I should. If you do end up reading this book I HIGHLY recommend watching the anime before you read the book. The anime adds a lot more in the missing gaps. Over all I would give this book a 9/10 but that’s mostly because, again, I have watched the anime.

Now it’s time for the summary. In a world placed seven years in the future a sixteen year old boy named Kirigaya Kazuto finally gets his hands on the official copy of a VRMMORPG (Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) called Sword Art Online after being a beta tester for a few months. As he enters the game he meets a man named Clyde. He teaches him the basics of the game and all of a sudden they both disappear and reappear in the center of the Town of Beginnings. Assuming it is just an event for the start of the game a giant robed player enters telling the players that there is no way of escape. Even worse if you die in the game you die in real life! Clyde leaves and Kirito is left on his own.

    Author: Michael Grant

I would recommend this book to someone else because the author does a great job on describing everything and developing the characters. It’s also a great futuristic/action book.
The plot is everyone except the young disappear. There are no doctors, no cops, and no parents. All the internet and phones shut down. Teens are learning to live without adult supervision but they are also changing. They get deadly powers. No one can explain what is happening.

No, because it’s a play so it’s in a different format than other books. So, unless you are into reading plays it’s probably not your style of book.

The story starts off with Simba going to the ‘elephant graveyard’ with Nala and Zazu. When they arrive they realize that the elephant grave isn’t real and they find themselves in trouble with the hyenas. Then scar kills Mufasa and makes Simba think he did it. Simba leaves his home. He lives on his own for a while until he meets Pumba and Timon.

The name of the book is American Sniper.

The authors are Chris Kyle, Scott McEwen, Jim DeFelice.

The major conflict in the story is the Chris is away from his family to much and that he is very cautious when he is at home. He also runs into problems throughout the story with insurgents and flashes of his family. Like at one point a kid picks up a rocket launcher and he doesn't want to kill the kid because he has a boy like that one.

The type of conflict is Man vs. Self.

I would recommend this book to anyone who like true military autobiographies or just true military stories.
